2025 Workshops

Holistic childbirth education takes a whole-person approach to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum by addressing not just the physical aspects but also the emotional, mental, and even spiritual well-being of the mother. It emphasizes the mindset and emotional preparedness for labor, understanding physiological birth and the innate wisdom of the body, non-medical comfort measures, and support person involvement, while also providing evidence-based information on interventions, medical options, and informed decision-making. 

No matter where you plan to give birth - a hospital, birth center, or at home - my workshops are open and beneficial to ALL expecting parents!

You can attend the workshop at any stage of your pregnancy, but I often recommend joining in your second or third trimester. This ensures the information stays fresh in your mind as you approach your due date.   Please note that spots are limited to ensure a small group size, allowing us to focus on meaningful discussions, so it's a good idea to reserve your spot early! 

Absolutely! The more involved everyone is, the better supported you’ll be! The workshop fee covers two people (you and one support person).

Each workshop lasts about five to six hours to ensure we have enough time to dive deep into each topic. The workshops are designed to be interactive, with opportunities for questions, discussions, games, hands-on practice and other engaging activities.  

Be sure to wear something comfortable - there will be some light movement as we practice positions for laboring and pushing.  Snacks and water will be provided, but we’ll also have a 30 minute lunch break so if you’d like, feel free to bring a lunch that doesn't require heating. 

If something comes up and you’re unable to attend after registering, I completely understand! My cancellation policy allows for a full refund if you cancel by the Wednesday before the workshop you registered for. If you need to cancel after that time, you can switch your spot to another upcoming workshop, subject to availability. Unfortunately, cancellations made after that time won’t be eligible for a refund, as I’ll have already prepared materials and reserved your spot.
